FRED VAN DER ZANT

I have been painting since I was in my 20's in Holland. I moved to Australia with my family and we started our Painting company "Van Der Zant and Sons Painters"

In January of 1971 I decided to start my own company. I bought some gear and some ladders and worked from the side of my home in Oxley. After a few years I had some staff working for me and we began to grow.

I was so excited when my son began working for me in 1984. We started taking on bigger jobs from the government like schools, and other services. When 1995 came around I decided my son Michael was ready and I stood down as Director and left him to it.
